Job summary

Securian Financial in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a software developer (Engineering Sr. Analyst) to join the Bills, Beneficiary and Beyond team within EBST. You'll design, code, test, and support quality software solutions across a modern technology stack, focusing on customer and business outcomes.

The role is hybrid, requiring in-office collaboration at least 3 days per week. You will work on billing, beneficiary and illustrations data integrations, participate in on-call support, and contribute

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Java software development experience.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and modern development workflows.
• Able to troubleshoot issues and take feedback through code reviews.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to grow technical skills and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams and business partners in an agile environment.
• Provide ongoing support for business applications, including on-call rotation.
• Perform analysis, design, development, testing, integration, and implementation of medium to high complexity.
• Support modernization efforts and learn new technologies for the project.
• Develop and maintain understanding of billing, beneficiary, and illustrations processes and data.
