The role is based in Chicago with a hybrid model (2 days/week in-office) and travel as needed for onboarding or meetings. A strong foundation in full-stack development and distributed systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of modern software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in React, Java, and TypeScript.
• Experience with REST APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Understanding of distributed systems and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, maintainable software in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Lead with Full Stack development using React and Java/TypeScript.
• Improve delivery processes and ensure quality gates and deployment confidence.
• Provide on-call production support and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design robust technical solutions.
