Job summary

Focused is seeking a hands-on, full stack engineer to accelerate delivery of high-quality software for diverse clients in Denver. You will lead end-to-end work from backend services to modern UIs, pair daily with teammates and clients, and champion TDD and refactoring to improve reliability and maintainability.

You will influence architecture and collaborate across design, product, and stakeholder teams while exploring GenAI patterns.

Qualifications

• Hands-on full stack engineer with collaborative, agile experience.
• Experience with native iOS/Android development (Swift/Kotlin).
• Dedication to code quality via TDD and pairing.
• Experience across multiple languages/frameworks; deep Swift/Kotlin expertise.
• Interest in AI tooling and staying current in GenAI trends.
• Ability to navigate large organizations and bridge functions.
• Able to translate technical risks and wins into business language.
• Enthusiastic about sharing learnings to raise team skills.

Responsibilities

• W rite lots of code and ship software features end-to-end.
• Lead teams through delivery across backend to modern web UIs.
• Pair program daily with teammates and clients to share knowledge.
• Practice TDD and refactor for reliability and maintainability.
• Guide architecture decisions to support scalability and observability.
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and stakeholders on valuable software.
• Coach developers through pairing and mentoring.
• Influence technical direction across client orgs and internal practices.
• Explore GenAI patterns and help evolve AI-powered software.
