Job summary

LeanData Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Santa Clara, CA for a hybrid role.

You will design, build, and ship features end to end, leveraging AI tooling across the SDLC to improve development across a large codebase that blends modern and legacy systems. You’ll own significant technical work, drive best practices, and contribute to scalable architectures, REST APIs, and data models using Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL in a Salesforce/AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and shipping full‑stack web applications to production.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tooling across the SDLC and the judgment to use it well.
• Experience designing scalable systems and services, including data models, interfaces, and service boundaries.
• Clear written and verbal communication that turns ambiguity into direction the team can act on.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship features end to end, from spec through deployment.
• Own significant technical work and drive best practices and standards across the team.
• Use AI tooling fluently across the SDLC and improve how the team applies it.
• Debug and resolve production issues across the stack, across modern and legacy code.
