Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Global Engineering & Technology Center in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. You will design, develop, integrate and verify embedded software for military communications solutions, collaborating with FPGA, hardware, systems and software teams in a hybrid on-site/off-site model.

The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience, strong English communication, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 5+ years of experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Excellent English communication across all levels.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and test embedded software for military communications systems.
• Collaborate with FPGA, hardware, systems and software teams to embed technology.
• Prepare software builds and embedded test solutions for qualification activities.
• Participate in run-for-score and software release activities and root-cause reviews.
