Job summary

BD is seeking Software Engineers to join the Pyxis ES Development team in a fast-paced, Agile environment. You will design, implement, and test microservices-based software across on-premises and cloud-native deployments, using Go or Java and modern web technologies.

Strong emphasis on observability, security frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. Ideal candidates will have containerization experience, knowledge of TLS/PKI and OAuth 2.0,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM related field.
• 5 years of R&D experience with coding in Python/Java/Go/C/C++/C# or similar.
• Experience with multiple databases (MySQL, SQL Server, non-relational).
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
• Experience in agile development environments.
• Experience in healthcare environments.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with REST and RPC protocols.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift).
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, Pulumi).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software following guidelines for performance and maintainability.
• Evaluate and test own and others' software and third-party code.
• Provide technical design and test documentation.
• Attend design reviews per procedures.
• Document and repair software defects.
• Support professional growth through learning activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Product Engineering projects.
