Job summary

Lume Deodorant, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the storefront team and own end‑to‑end solutions on a headless Shopify setup. You will work across Shopify storefronts, subscriptions, and loyalty, shaping technical direction and delivering high‑impact features on a small team.

You’ll partner with Product, Growth, Retention, Creative, and Analytics to raise the bar on performance, reliability, and scalability of the Lume ecommerce stack.

Qualifications

• Production e-commerce apps experience with independent delivery.
• Headless Shopify on React Router with Storefront API and Remix data loading.
• Experience integrating third‑party SaaS via APIs and webhooks.
• Fluency in testing, code review, observability, incident response, and releasing to production.
• Ability to communicate a clear technical point of view and commit to the team’s decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead storefront projects end to end.
• Maintain quality bar with secure, testable, maintainable code.
• Drive technical decisions in a complex domain.
• Build consensus across engineering and cross‑functional partners.
• Create reusable components, runbooks, and docs to raise productivity.
• Debug across the stack from Remix to edge and third-party integrations.
• Communicate decisions clearly across codebases and business functions.
• Translate business needs into technology within the Lume domain.
• Grow teammates by sharing knowledge and mentoring engineers.
