Job summary

Mural is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Growth & Engagement team in the United States. You will build features, platforms, and experimentation capabilities that accelerate value realization for customers and drive sustainable growth.

You will partner with Product, Design, Data and other Engineering teams to validate ideas through experiments and deliver customer-centric outcomes at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience with data analytics to inform product decisions.
• Familiarity with AI tooling ecosystems and experimentation.
• Proven ability to build customer-facing features and ship.
• Experience mentoring teammates and guiding engineering practices.
• Ability to collaborate with Product, Design, Data and other teams.
• Comfort designing, implementing, and analyzing experiments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain customer-facing features across acquisition to monetization.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, Marketing, and CS to identify growth opportunities.
• Design, run, and analyze experiments using feature flags and A/B tests.
• Build instrumentation and event pipelines to understand user behavior.
• Write high-quality code and contribute to architecture and platform improvements.
• Improve performance, reliability, accessibility, and scalability of journeys.
• Mentor teammates and participate in design reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to roadmap, technical direction, and engineering practices.
