Job description

Curipod is the AI-powered curriculum platform for teacher-paced lessons that get students to look up from their screens and talk. We are on a mission to give teachers and students a reason to show up to class and learn together.

What that means:

We combine the best of LLM systems engineering and curriculum prompt engineering. We’re the only AI company building complex AI workflows into our product with a pedagogical basis.

Curipod lessons get the most disengaged students to care about what’s happening in class. We do this through a mix of deceivingly simple interactive tools, plus curriculum that’s tailored to each classroom but scaled to millions of students.

We anticipate teachers’ and students’ every need to craft delight at every step. Beautiful interactive presentations and WYSIWYG editing, not flimsy lesson plans. Intentional AI feedback on writing and multimedia work, not out-of-the-box chatbots. RAG-based student reports for every lesson to track progress over time, not another disjointed wrapper.

We ship to production daily, and Curipod always works for every subject, every grade, and in every language in the US and around the world.

Over 1 million students per month

600k+ teachers on the platform

Product- and community-led growth

Backed by top tier SF EdTech investor, Reach Capital

One of the fastest growing EdTech startups in the world

We are in hustling mode. We ship fast and work late while building the first platform for AI-native lesson creation and delivery. We are looking for passionate people who want to build something teachers and students love to use. Curious? See what teachers are saying .

Fun fact: Our first angel investment came from an investor whose daughter came home from school one day and said, “Dad! Today we did something which was much more fun and interesting than Kahoot. We did a Curipod!”

You will have these primary responsibilities
Responsibilities

Work closely with our Product and Go-to-market teams to rapidly test and implement growth strategies that accelerate user acquisition, retention, and referrals.

Collaborate with CEO and CTO to build delightful growth loops that leads to viral flywheel effects

Write code that gets the job done quickly, focusing on impact over perfection.

Stay ahead of industry trends to integrate best practices into our growth strategies

Create flywheel growth levers, tapping into existing sharing incentives in teachers’ day-to-day life.

Skills

You have a strong entrepreneurial and experimental mindset.

You have a solid experience of using data to inform decisions

You have solid frontend development skills, and can prototype and contribute to building what you design.

Track record of delivering impactful and engaging user experiences that delight users

Excellent communication skills. We are a hybrid team and we’re moving fast together. Communication is key.

You have a minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience

You desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft

You’re passionate about users and growth

You are highly analytical yet acutely aware of how to translate data into actionable strategies.

Bonus:

You have previously been running growth experiments in Edtech and have an expert understanding of industry tactics.

Qualities

Empathy

We want every student to participate. We don’t settle if 29 of 30 do. Building something that resonates with every student is hard. Without empathy, we will never get there. Plus, we like nice people!

Curious people drive the world forward. They question established truths, learn fast, and are incredibly fun to work with. We meet new people and approach every challenge with curiosity.

Growth mindset

You thrive in a context of rapid changes, always eager to learn new things. You consider failing fast as an opportunity to learn and share your learning's with your team.

You collaborate well with others, and consider a teammate’s success as your own.

Analytical

You approach complex problem solving with a rational mind, setting clear goals and ways to measure your progress.

We Offer
