Job summary

LineVision seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the LineRate team. Build full-stack systems turning massive time-series sensor data into ratings utilities rely on.

Hybrid onsite in Charlestown, MA with 2–4 days in the office, reporting to the Senior Software Engineering Manager. You will own end-to-end features across backend, APIs, and UI, collaborate with data scientists and UI/UX teams, and contribute to weather modeling tools and front-end visualizations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes and Rust.
• Experience working with large-scale time-series data sets.
• Background collaborating closely with data science or applied science teams to productionize research code.
• Experience with at least one relational database and one NoSQL database.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists to productionalize core computational functionality, turning research code into reliable, scalable services.
• Work with UI/UX teams to design and build APIs that surface the right data at the right time.
• Design efficient storage and retrieval strategies for massive time-series data sets.
• Contribute across core codebases: ratings generation library, weather modeling tools, and front end visualizations.
• Advise product on roadmap priorities, balancing customer benefit against time to implement.
