LineVision is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own and evolve our data platform, designing and leading real-time grid data pipelines on AWS. You will drive scalable architecture and collaborate across Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Operations to enable utilities to deliver affordable, reliable power.

Hybrid position based in Boston, MA, offering autonomy, modern tooling, and ownership of data infrastructure from ingestion to storage and BI readiness.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL with production data pipelines
• Deep experience with AWS storage and compute services (Lambda, RDS, SQS, Glue, Athena)
• Strong background in data modeling, ETL design, and job orchestration (Airflow)
• Outstanding collaboration and communication skills across diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and lead data pipelines ingesting diverse data sources
• Own system of record architecture and implement next-generation data infrastructure
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to define data needs and architect solutions
• Design monitoring, alerting, and metadata systems for data pipelines
• Lead optimization of relational databases for performance and resilience
