American Airlines is seeking a senior full-stack developer in Fort Worth to partner across IT and business ministries. You will design, build, and refine scalable services using Java/.NET tech, Docker/Kubernetes, REST/SOAP, and modern front-end tools.

You’ll work with architects, analysts, and PMs to deliver robust solutions in a fast-paced environment. Expect collaboration across teams, emphasis on security and performance, and ongoing adoption of agile practices.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in CS/Engineering or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 3+ years SDLC experience designing and implementing large-scale apps.
• Experience in design and open-source projects; airline industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leads, analysts, PMs, and developers to translate requirements.
• Maintain and enhance enterprise services and platforms using DDD and TDD.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Create detailed specifications, requirements, and estimates.
• Research new tech to improve security, performance, and processes.
• Support coding standards and security best practices.
• Partner with architects to ensure scalable, long-term growth.
