Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience delivering substantial web application features in production.
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills with React experience.
• Working knowledge of relational data modeling and SQL.
• Experience designing APIs and integrating with third-party services.
• Good judgment on testing, security, reliability, and first-release scope.
• Ability to understand operational problems and communicate with non-technical teammates.

Responsibilities

• Work with account, production, and operations teams to understand workflows and decide what to build or improve.
• Deliver features across the interface, APIs, and data model, keeping the experience coherent end-to-end.
• Build integrations and background workflows connecting business systems to reduce manual work.
• Protect customer and business data through proper authorization, isolation, input validation, and secure credentials handling.
• Write maintainable code, tests, and documentation; review changes and explain tradeoffs clearly.
• Investigate production issues, improve observability and performance, and verify fixes.
• Plan migrations so data and workflows remain reliable as the product evolves.
• Help establish good engineering habits and choose simple, maintainable solutions.
