Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Full-stack development across frontend and backend.
• Experience with Next.js and NestJS preferred.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and API/backend knowledge.
• Experience with microservices architectures and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, observability, and production support.
• Experience working with AWS and Docker.
• Ability to balance scalability, maintainability, speed and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Own full-stack features and initiatives from problem statement through production deployment and ongoing iteration.
• Build scalable, production-ready applications across the frontend and backend using React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
• Partner directly with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions and make thoughtful tradeoffs.
• Write clean, tested, maintainable, and well-documented code while participating in peer code reviews.
• Make architectural decisions and help establish engineering patterns and best practices through hands-on development.
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, production monitoring, observability, and post-production support.
• Mentor other engineers and help raise the team's standards around quality, scalability, pragmatism, and delivery speed.
• Build and maintain applications that responsibly handle regulated and sensitive data, including PII/PIFI.
