KODE Labs, headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build resilient, scalable backend services in a growing real estate technology company. In this role, you will work with Product and Technical Leads during definition and development, reviewing code and helping set high standards for performance, security, and maintainability.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience with either Java backend (Quarkus/Spring Boot) or modern frontend (Angular 20+ and TypeScript).
Familiarity with Kubernetes and at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Strong communication and ability to work independently in an agile team.

Responsibilities

Design and build resilient, scalable backend services or develop high-performance frontend features.
Collaborate with Product and Technical Leads during feature definition and prioritization.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
Optimize application performance and maintainability, including both backend and frontend aspects.
Stay up-to-date with latest technologies and share knowledge with the team.
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
