Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing, building, and supporting distributed microservices in production using Java/Spring Boot and RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience building and running services on AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills; data modeling and performance tuning.
• Experience with automated unit/integration tests and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and run secure, reliable, full-stack services on AWS in a squad that owns the product end-to-end.
• Write high-quality code, improve development practices, and mentor engineers.
• Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and event-driven integrations (Kafka).
• Contribute to front-end work with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML, and CSS.
• Ensure performance, availability, observability, security, and compliance are built into designs.
