Collaboration.Ai, a Minnesota-based AI software company, seeks a senior full‑stack engineer to own features across the NetworkOS stack. You’ll work from database schemas to UI, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalable design for regulatory domains.

You will contribute across Kotlin services, GraphQL/REST APIs, and Next.js UI, mentoring others and pushing the roadmap with production code weekly. This is a high-autonomy, senior team role in a defense‑adjacent business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend focus and frontend production work.
• Strong Kotlin and Spring Boot mastery; willingness to use Java/Spring if needed.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/React with ability to ship UI features from a design system.
• Solid Python experience with modern frameworks (FastAPI ok).
• Experience designing PostgreSQL schemas and managing migrations.
• Proven track record with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS in microservices environments.
• Experience with GraphQL/REST APIs and API design in scalable systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and automated testing; security-conscious development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver features end-to-end across PostgreSQL schema, Kotlin service, GraphQL contract, and Next.js UI.
• Own core API and service health; design and maintain GraphQL and REST APIs with clean boundaries.
• Master the data layer with optimized queries, zero-downtime migrations, and caching strategies.
• Build comprehensive test suites and maintain CI/CD quality gates for production readiness.
• Design resilient systems with structured logging, tracing, metrics, and circuit breakers.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Automate with agentic coding tools and AI-native development practices across the stack.
