Collaboration.Ai in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a senior software engineer to own full-stack development across the NetworkOS stack — Kotlin/Spring Boot back end and Next.js/React front end. You’ll ship production features weekly, with complete vertical slices from database to UI.

You’ll mentor engineers, improve API design, ensure reliability under growth in regulated environments, and apply AI-native tooling to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with production frontend contributions.
• Strong Kotlin and Spring Boot expertise; willingness to adopt Kotlin across teams.
• Proven experience with TypeScript and React (Next.js preferred).
• Solid Python experience with modern frameworks (FastAPI).
• Experience with PostgreSQL, schema design, and migrations.
• Proven track record in CD/CI with automated testing.
• Hands-on Docker, Kubernetes, AWS; microservices patterns and API design.
• AI-native workflows using agentic coding tools (Claude Code/Codex).
• US citizenship required (DoD IL4/IL5 environments & FedRAMP).

Responsibilities

• Deliver features end-to-end — complete vertical slices (PostgreSQL schema, Kotlin service, GraphQL/REST, Next.js UI).
• Own core API and service health — design and maintain APIs with clean boundaries and low latency.
• Master the data layer — design schemas, optimize queries, manage migrations with Liquibase.
• Ship with confidence — implement comprehensive tests and maintain CI/CD gates.
• Build resilient systems — structured logging, tracing, metrics, and graceful degradation.
• Elevate the team — mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and pairing.
• Automate with AI — create agentic primitives to speed up full-stack work.
