Job summary

TP ICAP in New York is seeking a Software Engineer to build and maintain frontend features for the internal broking division and external customers, using React and TypeScript in an Agile, collaborative environment.

You will join a self-organizing, cross-functional team focused on CI/CD, design reviews and quality, delivering accessible, data-intensive interfaces and real-time GraphQL integrations. The role requires strong problem solving and communication to drive delivery.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience building reusable frontend components.
• Experience with GraphQL queries, mutations and subscriptions.
• Experience using AG Grid to build data-intensive user interfaces.
• Understanding of state management using Redux or a similar library.
• Experience writing automated unit, integration or browser tests.
• Understanding of frontend performance, accessibility and web security.
• Experience with Git and modern frontend development tools.
• Good problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer at TP ICAP you will be part of a talented team delivering business critical software for the internal broking division and their external customer base.

You will work within an Agile environment, from design through to implementation, with a strong focus on continuous improvement whilst working collaboratively as part of self-organizing, cross-functional team with a focus on continuous integration and deployment.
