Job summary

The Structures Company, LLC is seeking a senior software professional for a contract role supporting a top-tier aerospace client. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining software systems, providing technical support to project teams, and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex software programs.

The role requires DOORS experience on FMS programs, strong software development background, and a U.S. Person status under ITAR.

Qualifications

• Must hold a U.S. Person status per ITAR.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience with DOORS on FMS programs.
• FMS knowledge is strongly desired.
• Experience designing and developing software applications or operating systems.
• Experience coordinating work teams for successful projects.
• Experience providing technical and project-related consultation.

Responsibilities

• Designs, modifies, develops, writes, and implements software applications and operating systems.
• Provides technical support to project team members for software development activities.
• Coordinates work teams to ensure successful project completion for complex software projects.
• Uses DOORS for requirements management and traceability on FMS programs.
• Applies FMS knowledge to software design and development.
• Demonstrates expertise in software development concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Performs a variety of software development tasks with creativity and latitude.
• Provides consultation on complex software projects as a top-level contributor or specialist.
• Applies experience with DOORS on FMS programs.
