Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Requirements Management Engineer to define, document, and manage system, software, and hardware requirements for aerospace programs. You will maintain full traceability across the design lifecycle, ensure compliance with DO-178C/DO-254 and ARP4754A, and support verification and validation activities in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or related.
• Minimum of 2 years of aerospace requirements management or related systems engineering experience.
• Exposure to certification-focused development environments.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards and certification frameworks (DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to define, document, and organize system, software, and hardware requirements.
• Maintain full traceability between requirements, design artifacts, implementation, and verification results.
• Ensure all requirements comply with aerospace standards and certification guidelines (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254, AS9100, ARP4754A).
• Support verification and validation activities to confirm measurability, testability, and compliance.
