Job summary

Alegeus is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive technology vision and deliver high‑performance SaaS applications. You’ll work from design to deployment, mentor teammates, and support critical systems, with occasional on‑call duties. Hybrid work requires 25% presence in the Boston office.

Minimum 3+ years in software development using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Azure, and microservices; strong T‑SQL and SQL Server skills are essential. Bachelor’s in CS/IS; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience building high‑volume transactional SaaS web apps.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server performance tuning and T‑SQL.
• Proficiency with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core and RESTful services.
• Experience with Azure cloud solutions, Kubernetes and microservices.
• Familiar with T‑SQL, LINQ, Dapper, TDD and UML for modeling.
• Nice to have .NET 8.0+, Web API and real‑time financial systems.

• Build scalable, secure applications within a Scrum team.
• Improve code quality, team productivity and technical practices.
• Translate user stories into clean code and document specs.
• Mentor teammates and promote best coding, security and processes.
• Support critical systems via on‑call rotations and releases.
