Job summary

Central Payments, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Sioux Falls, SD to build scalable payment technology. You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software using C#, Java, React, and relational databases, while contributing to architecture decisions and mentoring teammates.

You will collaborate with product and business stakeholders, participate in Agile planning, and ensure secure, compliant solutions in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience delivering high-quality software in Agile environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience designing and developing scalable enterprise applications and APIs.
• Experience contributing to architectural decisions and technical design initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using modern technologies such as C#, Java, React, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL
• Build scalable APIs, integrations, and platform services that enhance product functionality and operational efficiency
• Contribute to software architecture, technical design decisions, and enterprise application development
• Collaborate with Product, PMO, Support, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business goals

What You Bring

• Strong proficiency in C#, Java, or other modern programming languages and frameworks
• Experience developing scalable enterprise applications, APIs, and integrations
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, and modern development methodologies
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, source control, and deployment best practices
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
