Job summary

Method is building the most modern way to connect to consumer financial accounts. You will own end-to-end projects with autonomy and support from a strong team, delivering scalable backend services and delightful frontend experiences.

You will work on a core API that serves millions of requests daily, with a focus on financial tech, performance, and reliability. This role is based in multiple US hubs with hybrid in-office expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally full-stack
• Expert knowledge in JS, Python, Java or equivalent languages
• Experience building scalable production-level applications

Responsibilities

• Build and create with JavaScript across the platform. Build a reliable backend in Node and delightful user experiences in React.
• Build and scale our core API to handle millions of requests per day
• Investigate and debug issues using monitoring/logging tools and create clear action items to resolve them
• Participate in code reviews and interviewing new team members to maintain high technical standards
• Collaborate with the team to define the roadmap by understanding customers’ needs
