Job summary

Method is building the most modern way to connect to consumer financial accounts with real-time connectivity and instant payment execution. The engineering team owns projects end-to-end in a full-stack, backend-leaning role, delivering scalable applications and data pipelines.

You will work with Node/JS and React across the platform, collaborating to define the roadmap and to help maintain a high technical bar through code reviews and mentorship. Hybrid in-office model across multiple hubs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time software engineering experience, ideally full-stack.
• Experience building scalable production-level applications.
• Experience working with some combination of Node / JS, React (or similar framework) and MongoDB / NoSQL.
• Clear communication of concepts and breaking down solutions into tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build and create with JavaScript across the platform. Build delightful user experiences in React and power them with a reliable backend in Node.
• Investigate and debug issues using monitoring and logging tools, and create clear action items to resolve them.
• Contribute to code reviews and help interview new team members to maintain a high technical bar.
• Collaborate with the team to define the roadmap by thoroughly understanding customer needs.
