Job summary

Rise Technical in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a FinTech AI startup at a pivotal growth moment. You will work onsite in a modern AWS-powered stack with Python on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend.

You will build scalable applications, APIs, cloud infrastructure and AI-powered features, influence architecture, and collaborate directly with the founders to shape engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Full-stack engineer with experience across a modern technology stack
• Ideally experienced with Python, Serverless AWS, React and TypeScript
• Comfortable taking ownership in an early-stage environment
• Degree-educated in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline
• Entrepreneurial, ambitious and commercially minded
• Someone who has built beyond their day job — side projects, startups, open source or their own products
• Comfortable working directly with founders and making decisions with autonomy
