Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer for an ambitious fintech startup in Austin, TX. The role focuses on end-to-end development across Python, React and AWS in a modern serverless environment, with a bias toward AI-powered features.

The environment is built around a modern AWS Serverless environment, with Python on the back end and React and TypeScript on the front end, with some mobile development using Flutter. However, they genuinely see development languages as tools and are quite code-agnostic.

The person

• Full-stack engineer with experience across a modern technology stack
• Ideally experienced with Python, Serverless AWS, React and TypeScript
• Comfortable taking ownership in an early-stage environment
• Degree-educated in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline
• Entrepreneurial, ambitious and commercially minded
• Someone who has built beyond their day job - side projects, startups, open source or their own products
• Comfortable working directly with founders and making decisions with autonomy
