Software Engineer (Fintech Start-up)

Are you a full-stack engineer from a credible start-up background looking to make the move to a solid, YC and top-tier VC-backed start-up that is solving a genuine problem?

Established for a few years now and growing organically, they are building something that will last and are quickly becoming a market leader within the payments industry. Boasting a strong team in downtown Austin, they are looking for their next batch of engineers to grow within the team.

The environment is built around a modern AWS Serverless environment, with Python on the back end and React and TypeScript on the front end, with some mobile development using Flutter. However, they genuinely see development languages as tools and are quite code-agnostic.

The role

• Full-stack development across modern technologies including Python, React, AWS, AI, LLMs and TypeScript
• YC and VC-backed start-up

The person

• Full-stack engineer with experience across a modern technology stack
• Ideally experienced with Python, Serverless AWS, React and TypeScript
• Comfortable taking ownership in an early-stage environment
• Degree-educated in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline
• Entrepreneurial, ambitious and commercially minded
• Someone who has built beyond their day job - side projects, startups, open source or their own products
• Comfortable working directly with founders and making decisions with autonomy
