Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 6 years of progressive experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Experience with embedded C in RTOS and bare-metal environments.
• Low-level driver development for ARM Cortex architecture.
• Hardware analysis and troubleshooting with test equipment.
• HV system integration in EVs for power conversion.
• Driver and vehicle communication protocols: CAN, CAN-FD, SPI, I2C, UART, LIN, UDS.
• MISRA C and ISO 26262 functional safety requirements (ASIL B or higher).
• Battery management algorithms: SOC, SOH, SOE, SOT.
• Firmware for high-frequency power converters and HIL platforms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate software development efforts and ensure alignment with requirements and system integration.
• Design, develop, and test embedded software per MISRA C and V-cycle best practices.
• Develop software for safety-critical components including battery protections.
• Help define test cases and provide detailed requirements for quality assurance.
• Contribute to algorithms for power electronics modules and DCDC/On-board charger.
• Verify performance by testing power converters on high voltage benches.
• Document component-level requirements for BMS and power electronics with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in firmware, hardware, system, and functional safety review processes.
• Collaborate with mechanical, hardware and systems teams for seamless integration.
• Optimize calibration parameters to enhance safety and performance.
• Engage in functional safety analyses (HARA, FMEAs) for complex subsystems.
