Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group seeks a Software Engineer to join our enterprise solutions team. You’ll design, build, and maintain APIs and integrations across systems, applying SOLID principles with .NET, SQL, HTML/CSS/JS, and Angular/React/Vue.

Collaborate across product, architecture, QA, and other engineers in an agile environment. The role requires 5+ years of enterprise software experience, strong communication, and self-drive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years as a software engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining robust APIs for application integration.
• Working knowledge of full stack technologies such as .NET (C#), SQL, HTML/CSS/JS, NodeJS, etc.
• Familiarity with SOLID design principles and development best practices.
• Experience transforming app designs into front-end code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript using responsive UI frameworks including Angular, React or Vue. Angular required.
• Debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Unit tests or automated testing with QA.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps and Git Source Control.
• CI/CD and cloud/SaaS paradigms.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis, technical design, and development for software solutions.
• Work closely with product management to execute project roadmaps.
• Partner with architecture, quality engineering and fellow engineers to ensure scalable solutions.
• Apply agile principles with continuous delivery of value as a team.
• Build APIs and integrate products with in-house and third-party systems.
