Job summary

Radiant is building portable nuclear microreactors in El Segundo. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own and extend the internal operations platform used across procurement, manufacturing, finance, and more.

You will ship end-to-end features from schema to API to UI on a small, high-leverage team, with strong collaboration with business users. You should bring 5+ years of full-stack experience, expert Python, TypeScript frontend skills, and experience with OAuth/SSO, REST/GraphQL, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with significant full-stack work.
• Strong Python skills building production web services, including API design, asynchronous patterns, relational databases, and migrations.
• Solid frontend skills with a modern component-based framework and TypeScript, with the ability to build polished, functional UI without a dedicated frontend team.
• Experience integrating with third-party systems, including OAuth and single sign-on (SSO), REST and GraphQL APIs, and webhooks.
• Product sense, meaning you make good decisions about what to build with limited direction, and you ship.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship full-stack features across a modern Python asynchronous API and a single-page TypeScript frontend, backed by a relational database and the company data warehouse.
• Own and extend the platform as a product, translating operator, buyer, and finance workflows into software that removes toil.
• Integrate the platform with manufacturing execution, finance, procurement, and identity systems through REST APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks.
• Build AI-native features by extending our SQL assistant, agent task queues, and streaming tool-use loops.
• Own access control, RBAC, and audit for secure handling of sensitive data.
• Write tested, maintainable code and run services on Kubernetes, handling authentication, authorization, and observability.
• Help expand the platform's reach as Radiant grows, standing up new operational tools.
