Job summary

Radiant, an El Segundo, CA-based startup, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to own and extend its internal data platform. You will ship features end to end, from API design to UI, serving operators, buyers, and finance teams at scale.

The role emphasizes building AI-native capabilities, robust RBAC, secure data handling, and integration with manufacturing and finance systems. This on-site role requires strong ownership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
• 5+ years of software engineering with full-stack focus.
• Strong Python skills for production web services (API design, async patterns, DB migrations).
• Frontend skills with a modern TS framework to build UI without dedicated frontend team.
• Experience integrating with OAuth/SSO, REST, GraphQL, and webhooks.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship full-stack features across a Python API and a TypeScript frontend backed by a relational DB and data warehouse.
• Own and extend the platform as a product to translate operator, buyer, and finance workflows into software.
• Integrate the platform with manufacturing, finance, procurement, and identity systems via REST APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks.
• Build AI-native features by extending an SQL assistant, task queues, and tool-use loops; design surfaces for automated agents and humans to work together.
• Own access control, RBAC, and audit for secure handling of sensitive data.
• Write tested, maintainable code and run services on Kubernetes with proper observability.
• Help expand the platform by standing up new operational tools across the enterprise.
