Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Service Management Senior Software Engineer to design unified interfaces, build AI-powered developer tools, and help engineers oversee changes to services at scale.

You will partner with engineering teams, craft front- and back-end solutions, and mentor teams to improve automation and CD practices. The role emphasizes full-stack capabilities and collaboration across a global engineering organization.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience designing tools and services used by engineers at scale.
• Proficiency with Go, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript and React.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal Engineering teams to gather requirements for the service management platform.
• Create and improve front- and back-end applications enabling thousands of change rollouts daily.
• Collaborate on cross-functional architectural designs for the future.
• Develop, mentor, and share best practices to boost automation and efficiency.
• Align with managers to shape and realize the team's vision.
• Work with a global team to build groundbreaking technology for the Metaverse.
• Be in office at Roblox HQ in San Mateo 3 days a week (Tue-Thu).
