Roblox Corporation is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for the Engineering Acceleration team to help build a unified service management platform, developer tools powered by AI, and scalable change-management infrastructure for thousands of Roblox engineers.

You will collaborate with internal engineering teams to design cross-functional architectures and mentor others, while driving automation and productivity improvements across the organization.

Formación

• BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) and 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Designed, built, shipped, monitored, and supported tools and/or systems used by Roblox engineers at scale.
• Experience with backend and frontend development and best practices.
• Designed and built tools at scale; extensive infrastructure and distributed systems experience.
• Experience with cloud technologies; Docker, containers, and CD platforms.
• Familiarity with HashiCorp tools and Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with internal Engineering teams to gather requirements and develop the service management platform.
• Create, influence, and improve development and implementation of front and back-end applications that manage thousands of change rollouts daily.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to come up with cross-functional architectural designs for multi-year horizons.
• Develop, mentor, and share best practices to improve automation and efficiency.
• Work with managers to shape the team's vision and bring it to life.
• Collaborate with a global team of engineers to build groundbreaking technology for the Metaverse.
• Be in the office at HQ 3 days a week (Tues-Thurs).
