Snap Finance US is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who owns problems end-to-end, ships high-impact features, and thrives in an environment of autonomy and accountability across the stack (Node backend, React web, React Native mobile, and data-oriented Python tasks).

You will design, build, test, and operate features, partner with product, business, data teams, write SQL to surface insights, and contribute to reliable, scalable software that directly helps customers move forward.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with React and React Native.
• Strong SQL skills; Python a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build across the stack: Node backend to React web apps, React Native mobile apps, and Python data/ops tasks.
• Own features end-to-end: design, build, test, ship, monitor, and iterate.
• Champion reliability: write tests, build alerts/monitors, and on-call involvement.
• Work cross-functionally: partner with product, business, data engineering, and data science to deliver impactful features.
• Dig into data: write SQL and use logging tools to understand production and derive insights.
