Job summary

Harris Geospatial Solutions is seeking a Sr. Specialist Software Engineer based in Millersville, MD, to develop and support advanced sonar systems. This role involves software development in C/C++ and C#, focusing on both application-level and embedded software.

The ideal candidate will contribute to technical guidance within the Software Engineering Group and is preferred to have experience in UI design on Windows and Linux platforms. A Bachelor's degree along with relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer / Electrical, or Electronics Engineering or equivalent and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience designing and implementing software in C/C++, C# languages.
• 2+ years of experience in embedded software and UI development on Windows/Linux.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software using C/C++ and C#.
• Execute assigned projects involving software design and validation for sonar systems.
• Conduct analyses for computer hardware and software development or implementation.
