Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design and development of software platforms for industrial automation, embedded control systems, and Edge AI across global data center infrastructure. You will work with OT, embedded hardware, cloud platforms, and ML to deliver reliable, efficient, and predictive solutions.

The role emphasizes PLCs, industrial controls, embedded firmware, edge computing, ML, and intelligent automation to advance data center technologies and operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field and Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of experience developing production‑grade software, embedded systems, or control systems.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, Rust, Go, C#, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop industrial automation software, control systems, and embedded apps for facility infrastructure.
• Develop PLC programs, HMI interfaces, SCADA integrations, and control solutions for cooling, power, and building automation.
• Create ML and predictive analytics for fault detection, maintenance, energy optimization, and anomaly detection.
• Develop Edge AI solutions for real‑time decision making across industrial and facility systems.
• Architect scalable software platforms, APIs, microservices, and edge computing applications.
