Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a software engineer to participate in cross‑discipline teams, delivering aerospace software using agile practices. You may contribute as a team member or lead a small team, working with systems and test engineers to analyze and test complex solutions.

The role requires a STEM degree and 5+ years in software development with C++, Java, or Ada, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Onsite employment with relocation eligibility is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is required.
• Minimum of five or more years of relevant professional experience in software development, integration, and/or test using C++, Java, Ada or similar OO language.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-discipline teams using agile software development to deliver complex aerospace and defense software solutions.
• Contribute as a software team member and possibly lead a small software team.
• Collaborate with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze, implement and test systems.
