Job summary

Raytheon Fort Wayne, IN is seeking software engineers to join the DoD-focused software team responsible for aerospace and defense systems including Battle Management, Command & Control, Communications, and Sensors. This onsite role requires U.S.

citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. You will work in agile teams, collaborate with Systems and Integration Test Engineers, and contribute across the software lifecycle using C++, Java, Ada and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of five (5)+ years of relevant professional experience in software development, integration, and/or test using C++, Java, Ada or similar OO language.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance required; U.S. citizenship necessary.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-discipline, integrated product teams; employ agile software development techniques to develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications.
• Lead a software team or contribute as a member on a software product.
• Collaborate with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze, implement and test system.
