Job summary

Lockheed Martin's ground software depot team is seeking an experienced software engineer to support the Next Gen GEO program's command and control software in operations. The role operates in a 5-6 person agile team to provide on-demand support and ensure smooth transitions into operations.

The candidate will maintain and test the codebase, collaborate with hardware, network, and DevSecOps, address defects, and participate in root cause analyses while supporting on-call duties, including

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance required.
Ability to receive and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
3+ years of C/C++ programming experience.
Linux OS background/experience developing in a Linux environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain and test the software codebase.
Coordinate with Hardware, Network, and DevSecOps teams to troubleshoot issues.
Work defects and mods to deliver a release to the customer.
Attend root cause analysis and failure reviews for the ground command and control team.
Respond to issues in an on-call posture, including evenings and overnights as necessary.
