The Role

Our Workplace Engineering team specializes in web architecture and analytics, building tools, dashboards, and analytics to empower colleagues, managers, and executives to make better decisions and improve work delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver web-based systems and SaaS solutions.
• Provide insights into the Canonical workplace experience.
• Enable new processes and improve existing workflows.
• Collaborate proactively with a distributed team.
• Write high-quality code for new features and bug fixes.
• Conduct code reviews and discuss ideas for solutions.
• Estimate work, set goals, and ensure timely completion.
• Develop project specifications, epics, and understand associated risks.
• Mentor junior team members and develop personal skills.
• Connect to various data sources and create insightful visualizations.
• Design and architect databases for connected systems.
