Role Overview

Capital One is seeking passionate DevOps Engineers to be at the forefront of technological transformation. As a part of Dealer Tech Auto, you'll work on innovative auto loan technology solutions, partnering with dealerships nationwide to enhance auto loan origination and dealership services.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, and support full-stack technical solutions.
• Stay updated with tech trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in tech communities, and mentor peers.
• Work with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans.
• Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, and Go; container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes; configuration management tools including Ansible and Terraform; and AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3 years of DevOps Engineering experience (internships excluded)
• At least 2 years of experience with Cloud Native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• At least 2 years of Unix/Linux system administration experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years with New Relic or similar observability platforms
• 2+ years with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• 2+ years coding/scripting experience in Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Golang, Bash, Perl, or Ruby
• Experience with Agile development practices
