Job summary

Garmin International seeks a full-time Software Engineer - DevOps at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area.

You will provide technical leadership and plan software development activities for products and systems, acting as an individual contributor to manage CI pipelines, builds, and artifact deployment. The role emphasizes creating automation, improving CI performance for embedded software, and mentoring other engineers while collaborating with engineering leadership on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required with 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Proven ability to design well-architected software systems for embedded/modern platforms
• Strong programming proficiency in C/C++, C#, Java and scripting languages
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers in CI/CD and release automation

Responsibilities

• Improve CI performance and reliability for embedded software
• Integrate new automated testing into the CI system and manage test reporting
• Create and execute designs for CI/build system enhancements using Python, JavaScript, or similar
• Lead software engineering tasks and contribute to architectural reviews for new products
