You will design and manage Linux server infrastructure, focusing on open source technologies, monitoring, and security to support enterprise systems. The role requires strong scripting, automation, and collaboration skills, with on-call responsibilities and experience with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
• Excellent academics (GPA 3.0+ as general rule).
• Ability to author and implement basic scripting and coding to automate tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to adopt new technologies and maintain good documentation.
• Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops complex Linux server solutions to meet business requirements.
• Evaluates cost analyses and vendor comparisons for projects.
• Plans major version upgrades and tunes systems using deep knowledge of server technologies.
• Maintains monitoring and security across enterprise systems.
• Provides 24x7 on-call support and communicates changes effectively.
