Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Developer Productivity to help build the next generation of agentic codebases. This remote-first role reports to the Senior Engineering Manager, Developer Productivity and centers on creating scalable backend scaffolding for new services within a large monorepo.

You’ll own deployment across Cloudflare and coordinate with AWS/Kubernetes via Pulumi and Argo CD, while migrating older codebases into the monorepo and driving

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years building and operating backend services in production.
• Experience in backend service design with clear boundaries and data ownership.
• Business-level fluency to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Nest.js service scaffolding for new backend services in our monorepo.
• Implement paved paths, generators, and platform primitives for day-one service setup.
• Build seams so new services run independently of the monolith.
• Own the deployment story on Cloudflare and integrate with AWS/Kubernetes via Pulumi and Argo CD.
• Lead migrations of substantial codebases into the monorepo and standardize as reusable recipes.
• Partner with product teams as platform customers to drive adoption and reduce friction.
• Encode learnings into tooling and workflows to lower migration costs for future work.
• Contribute to engineering blogs and help with hiring processes and internal hackathons.
