Job summary

OASYS, INC. in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to support our ARMY/MDA customer onsite at Redstone Arsenal.

You will help drive the technical evolution of mission-critical training and planning tools, primarily Java-based, to allow rapid planning, optimization, and deployment of layered sensor search plans. The role requires strong expertise in C++, Java, Python, and XML, with DoD DevSecOps practices and experience with geospatial data processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field; years of experience may substitute.
• 10+ years of full-lifecycle software engineering experience.
• Strong programming in C++, Java, and Python.
• Experience with XML data structures and parsing utilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical evolution of mission-critical training tools.
• Lead integration with external modeling frameworks (TGx, TMSS).
• Develop heuristic algorithms for search plan optimization.
• Ensure robust data ingestion and export pipelines for tactical data.
