Job summary

Astrion is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Modeling and Simulation Development team in Dahlgren, VA. The ideal candidate will lead projects and mentor junior engineers in a dynamic environment focused on advanced simulation solutions for the U.S. Navy.

With at least 10 years of experience in software development, proficiency in C++, and strong leadership skills, you will support the design, testing, and implementation of critical software systems. A Bachelor’s degree and DoD security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• Experience with Object Oriented Architecture and Design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, test, and verification of simulations.
• Lead team(s) on individual projects.
• Participate in Agile development ceremonies.
