Job summary

By Light Professional IT Services, through its CESI division, seeks a senior systems/API engineer to support CG-OWL integrations for USCG. The role involves API development, UI customization, and coordinating with Tiered support to address defects and feature requests.

You will work within a defense-focused IT environment, leveraging AWS, Linux, Python, PHP, and MongoDB, and you will need an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least five years of relevant experience.
• IAT Level II certification.
• Knowledge of AWS, Linux, Python, PHP, and MongoDB.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain APIs for USCG information systems to pull data from CG-OWL.
• Customize CG-OWL User Interfaces for USCG use.
• Gather user feedback and contribute to the Product Roadmap / Backlog.
• Conduct Operational and User Acceptance Testing.
• Report performance metrics to USCG monthly, including downtime summaries.
