Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Dealer Learning Management team. You will build resilient, scalable Java cloud-native solutions, lead technical work, and collaborate across product and design teams.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence 4 days a week at times, with relocation as needed to be within commutable distance. You will work on modern microservices and cloud technologies to drive automotive solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
• 7+ years of experience building and maintaining complex enterprise web apps in microservice architecture
• Expertise in Angular, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Docker, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, NoSQL (Cosmos DB or Cassandra), Kafka

Responsibilities

• Write APIs for dealer and consumer-facing flows (web/mobile)
• Deliver solutions that are consistent, optimized, resilient, documented, secure
• Design and test efficient front-end and server-side solutions
• Act as a technical lead and mentor junior engineers
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners and UI/UX during development
