Ford Motor Company seeks an experienced Software Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and delivery of dealer enterprise platform solutions. You will build scalable full‑stack applications, APIs, and cloud services while improving platform reliability and performance.

You will mentor engineering teams, collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, business, and operations, and drive best practices for code quality, deployments, and responsible innovation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development, including designing, building, and delivering enterprise applications and scalable platform solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot for backend development and building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Familiarity with build and deploy mechanisms, CI/CD pipelines, and a disciplined version control approach.

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Developer/Architect certification or hands-on experience designing and deploying scalable cloud-native applications and enterprise infrastructure on GCP.
• Experience with Generative AI technologies, LLM integrations, and AI-assisted development workflows; Generative AI certifications or related cloud AI credentials are a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create and deliver clear, concise, and engaging presentations to business stakeholders.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
• Comfortable voicing opinions and sharing innovative concepts within a team setting.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Understanding of engineering, manufacturing, or other industrial business systems and their interaction with product definition processes.

This position ranges from salary grade 6-8 and ranges from $85,400-$190,000.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
